This weekend was full of fun new activities! We started it off by getting dinner with friends and then watching the local minor league hockey team, the Norfolk Admirals.
First, we ate at Doumar's, which was featured on Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives.
They claim to be the inventor of the ice cream cone, so of course we had to try one.
And it was delicious! This was Lisa's reaction to seeing the ice cream:

Then we went to the Admiral's Hockey Game - the first one of the season. (Thanks to an amazing Groupon, we got a really great deal on the tickets!)
It was both mine and Lisa's first time to ever go to a hockey game.

We had a great time, and the Admirals did really well, winning 4-0!
