The week after Easter, Matt had a disaster training conference in Richmond, so we decided to tag along and shake up our routine a bit. I occupied the kids Saturday while Matt was busy, and then on Sunday we got to hang out together.
We decided to spend all day at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Here’s some of what the girls did there:
They had a blast! Everything was so perfect for the age and size they are! We managed to fill up our whole day there, before we had to pick Matt up that evening. After enjoying dinner together, we headed back to the hotel, where the girls proceeded to bounce off the walls, because after all, ‘We’re in a hotel!!’ Do you remember when you were little, absolutely loving spending the night in a hotel, just because it wasn’t home? (And please tell me I’m not the only one who still feels that way?! )
They next day, we spent the morning at the Richmond Botanical Gardens before heading home. It was a great way to get outside in the beautiful weather, and we all had fun exploring a new place.
