After lots of searching, we've finally found a home!
We were able to find and rent this cute duplex (condos and duplexes are fairly common around here), in a nice little neighborhood. We've been 'camping out' in it for a few days now. The movers will come with all our boxes on Monday.
Some of the things we like about it:
Has a decent backyard for Toby that's fenced in.
In a nice quiet neighborhood; close to, but not in, the busy parts of the city.
Close enough to NASA that Matt will not have a very long commute to work.
Has a small garage we can use for storage and an extra bedroom for all the guests we hope to be having! (hint, hint)
Oh, and we can afford it! :)
And Matt loves that we now live in Yorktown, which was founded in 1691!! How cool is the history here!?!
When we get our things moved in and arranged, I'll hopefully post more pictures of the inside.
Praise the Lord!! You found a house that looks wonderful and in a nice neighborhood. I'm so glad you found what will work good for you, and not too far for Matt to go to work.
