Once Samantha's umbilical cord fell off, I couldn't wait to get that girl into a bath!
Warning: Some of the water involved in this bathtime involves tears. Samantha's, Lisa's, and yes, even mine.
We made the water nice and warm for her.
And helped a girl out by supporting her head.
But Samantha was not really a big fan of getting her hair washed.
And that feeling continued for the rest of the bath.
And right on through drying off and getting dressed too.
Meanwhile...
Lisa was happily splashing away in the 'big girl' tub. And then we saw something dark floating in the water. That's right - she pooped in the tub! She's never done that before, and I wasn't quite sure how to fix that little problem. (Good thing my mom was here. She retreived and removed the offending item lickity split! Thanks mom!)
I proceeded to give Samantha her bath, while my mom took pictures. Apparently, in addition to playing with her bath toys, Lisa was also having fun playing with the soap.
Andtasting eating it.
We couldn't figure out why she was crying until we saw chunks of soap all over her. And found the soapy evidence.
Soap was all embedded in her teeth - poor girl!
Do you think she'll still remember the taste of soap long enough that any threats of me washing her mouth out with it will be effective?
