We went to our first Lowe's Build and Grow Clinics back in December. A free kit at Lowe's. Matt and Lisa meet up with the Carneys and (with a lot of help from the dads!) built a train engine! It was a pretty big hit in our house! (Lisa is really big into trains right now, esp. Thomas.)
So we all went to the January Clinic, which was building a castle. Most of the time I was juggling Samantha and spilling coffee everywhere, but Matt and Lisa really enjoyed building it.

Lisa got the hang of hammering in the tiny nails and helping with the stickers. Matt still did most of the work, but it was fun to watch it all come together.
Needless to say, I envision us doing even more of these as the girls get older.
