Lisa had a great 15th Month check up!
She grew a whole inch and gained a pound since 12 months, bringing her to 31 inches and 20 pounds.
Her doctor thought she was doing great both physically and developmentally, and she ended her visit with a couple of boosters.
Lisa's definitely becoming her own little person, and loves to try and do things by herself. She's getting much better at feeding herself with a spoon. And she loves to do a few tasks when we ask her, like put her dirty clothes in her hamper, or put her shoes by the front door. She likes to 'clean' things with a napkin or tissue, which I'm hoping will continue! She also loves playing games with us, like peek-a-boo, where she'll cover her eyes or hide behind something and then pop out at us. So cute. Of course, along with this wonderful independence comes the occasional temper-tantrum, which we're not really fans of!
Lisa's also trying to talk more, and can say dada, dog, 'woof woof' (kind of), 'quack quack', mama (occasionally), and sometimes thank you. She's jabbering a lot, so we're thinking her vocabulary will start to take off soon.
