This was our first time at trying cereal - with milk!
Lisa's been flexing her independence quite a bit recently, often at mealtimes, when she insists she feed herself.
Only problem is - she can't actually feed herself.
But she sure has fun trying! She loves holding the spoon, and trying to get things in her mouth. When she's had enough, she'll just hold the spoon with one hand, and then actually eat with her other hand!

Parental lessons learned:
- patience, patience, patience!!
- there is joy in both learning to do things for yourself, and in messes!
- and most things CAN indeed be cleaned up, mopped up, or washed!
