Happy Independence Day!

This year, the Hopkin’s hosted a fabulous July 4th party. We were able to hang out with a lot of good friends, eat LOTS of good food, and generally try not to get too hot. Most of the pictures I have are of the kids playing outside. Several moms brought water guns, and the kids loved playing with them and getting themselves soaked!
The girls learning all about the wonders of a water gun:

(Ben somehow managed to keep his back dry the entire time! Our girls were soaked through within minutes!)

Both Matt and Mark got creamed. (It’s hard not too when a hose gets involved…)

While the big kids were soaking each other, Sam was chowing down! This girl thinks get-togethers are designed to accommodate her eating habits! Ha!

At some point, she moved on from her plate, to my plate, to Matt’s plate, and I’m pretty sure this is either Brenna or Sydney’s plate:

In true Samantha fashion, she didn’t put down the food already in her hand, and just went for that corn with her mouth! True efficiency!

We all had a blast! Thanks Hopkins for having us over and for letting us help water your lawn!
