I had an amazing first Mother's Day, thanks to my wonderful husband! He took care of Lisa Saturday morning, letting me sleep in. AND he made waffles for brunch, AND hamburgers for dinner! For someone who doesn't do much cooking, it was truly a gift of love!!
But the best mother's day gift ever, was a sewing machine!!
It's simple and basic and just perfect for me. Oh the projects I have in mind...I can't wait! (Nothing that would include measurements - that would be too close to math for comfort!) And several of my friends who sew have offered to help teach me some basics. I'll be sure to post any creations - good or bad - for your entertainment!
