CERES Launch

The satellite that Matt has been working on for the past 2 years just launched! 

(Matt is the CERES electronics engineer - this satellite monitors and collects data on the Earth's temperature and weather patterns.)

It was launched on Oct 28th.

Now he's splitting his time between the next CERES instrument and another instrument called SAGE.  SAGE will be attached to the International Space Station around 2016.  Here's Matt preparing to work in the clean room on SAGE.
