This year we took a road trip up to Pittsburgh to spend Thanksgiving with Matt's family.
We didn't get a lot of pictures, but there here are a few:
Matt and Sam right before Thanksgiving dinner.
Matt's Mom pulled out all of his old K'nex and Lincoln Logs, and we had fun building cars for the girls to play with. Later, Grandpa brought in this long piece of wood for Lisa to have some car races.
Sam playing with Uncle Dave:
We were able to see lots of Matt's extended family who were also in town, many of whom were able see the girls for the first time.
Before heading home, we drove through a Christmas light display, which the girls loved! An exciting way to start the Christmas season!
Here are a few pictures of our return trip. We stopped at this rest area to let the girls walk around for a minute.
Teaching Lisa how to get an 18-wheeler to honk.
And after lots of crying, traffic, and rest stops, we finally made it back home!
